From the north/east (A1/A3): At the Leverkusen interchange, take the A3 towards Frankfurt/Cologne city center. At the Cologne-East interchange, follow the B55 over the Zoobrücke bridge towards the city center. Keep heading towards the cathedral/main train station and follow the signs for the opera house/Opern Passagen parking garage. From the west (A4): At the Cologne-West junction, take the A1 northbound and change to the A57 towards the city center at the Cologne-North junction. At the end of the highway (Gladbacher Straße), follow the signs for Ringe/city center and later turn off towards the opera house/Offenbachplatz. From the south (A555/A59): Drive towards Cologne city center and cross the Rhine (e.g., Severinsbrücke). Follow the signs for Neumarkt/Oper.Arrival by public transport
By subway: Take lines 5 (towards Am Butzweilerhof), 16 (towards Bonn/Niehl), or 18 (towards Bonn/Buchheim). Exit: Appellhofplatz stop. Walking distance: Use the “Oper / WDR” exit. From there, it is only about 300 meters (approx. 4 minutes on foot) via Glockengasse directly to Offenbachplatz.
