The Harmonie Vienna Offers Hotel Guests In-Room Covid-19 Tests

Simple, safe and comfortable: The four-star boutique hotel The Harmonie Vienna, part of the BW Premier Collection, offers its guests a novel Covid-19 test developed by the Austrian company Lead Horizon directly in the hotel. The Harmonie Vienna is certified according to the Viennese guidelines for dealing with the Corona crisis.

Vienna, September 21, 2020. According to current legislation, a PCR test is mandatory within 48 hours when entering Austria from numerous countries. The boutique hotel The Harmonie Vienna in Vienna, a member of the BW Premier Collection, is now the first hotel in Austria to offer its guests the opportunity to meet this requirement without having to accept long waiting times or having to see a doctor. The Austrian research company LEAD Horizon has launched a novel test based on a gargle solution, which The Harmonie Vienna makes available to its guests. This allows each guest to perform a Covid-19 test safely, conveniently and quickly directly in the hotel room.

"We have given a lot of thought to how we can offer our guests a service in these challenging times so that they can enjoy their visit to Vienna or their business appointments in Vienna with a feeling of security," explains hotel owner Sonja Wimmer. "With LEAD Horizon we have found an established and reliable partner who also meets our quality standards".

The test is available at the boutique hotel The Harmonie Vienna for 120 Euro at the reception. A reservation is not necessary.

In a central location right in the heart of the so-called Servitenviertel, guests of the boutique hotel The Harmonie Vienna, member of BW Premier Collection by Best Western, encounter modern style and Viennese hospitality. Hotel director Sonja Wimmer was able to win Peruvian visual artist Luis Casanova Sorolla for the interior design of her hotel.
