Two Best Western Hotels Rated Among Top 10 City Meeting Hotels

The Slovenian trade magazine „Kongres Magazine“ has awarded the best meeting hotels in Slovenia and the surrounding regions of 2016 with the popular Meeting Star Award. Two Best Western hotels made it on the high score list: The Best Western Premier Hotel Lovec in Bled ranks sixth, followed by the Best Western Premier Hotel Slon in Ljubljana on the eighth place.

The best meeting and congress hotels in Slovenia and the surrounding countries are awarded with the popular Meeting Star Award. For the sixth time the trade magazine “Kongres Magazine” is honoring the best of the industry. Two Best Western hotels made it on the top 10 list of city meeting hotels: The Best Western Premier Hotel Lovec in Bled and the Best Western Premier Hotel Slon in Ljubljana rank sixth and eight on the top 10 list of city meeting hotels in the region. To identify the best, twelve hidden guests have evaluated 133 congress venues according to 465 evaluation criteria in twelve categories. Amongst others, they have paid attention to the following categories: first contact with the customer, general impression upon arrival, breakfast and congress halls.

 

The result is very gratifying for the two hotels of the Best Western group. „We are very pleased to be honored with this famous – in Slovenia and across the borders – and sought-after award. The fact that we rank sixth as the only boutique hotel in our category, is even more flattering”, says Nataša Keršič Razinger, Hotel Manager of Best Western Premier Hotel Lovec in Bled. The Best Western colleagues in the four-star superior Best Western Premier Hotel Slon in Ljubljana, where the public areas have been renovated and redesigned for 1.5 million euros recently, are also very satisfied with the result. “Being awarded with the Meeting Star Award confirms us in our daily work. As a centrally located hotel in the old town of Ljubljana the MICE sector is extremely important for us“, adds Managing Director Gregor Jamnik.
