New Best Western Hotel in Bavarian Forest, Germany

Best Western is expanding in Germany: The former Hotel Antoniushof in Schoenberg, Bavarian Forest, will join the Best Western brand in June. With the new name Best Western Hotel Antoniushof, the three-star superior hotel invites guests from the age of 16 years up to a relaxing holiday

Eschborn/Schoenberg, May 22nd 2018. Best Western is growing – a new hotel in Germany will benefit from the advantages of the world’s largest hotel group in the future: The Best Western Hotel Antoniushof in the Bavarian Forest joins the brand in June. The holiday hotel with 51 rooms is the first adult-only hotel in the national park region. In addition to a spacious spa area, the restaurant offers Bavarian and Austrian specialties. Since 2007, the Giffhorn family, together with son-in-law and Austrian-born Daniel Posch, have been running and managing the three-star superior hotel in Schoenberg near Nuremberg. Since then, the entire hotel has been renovated and modernised. The "Bavarian Forest National Park" is used as a central theme in all hotel areas: For the furniture in the public areas and rooms, light-coloured wood was used to a large extent. In addition, motifs from nature can be found as large eye-catchers in the rooms and the back wall of the showers. The three-star superior hotel is positioned as childless and is thus the first "Adult-Only Hotel" in the National Park region. "We have specialised as an adult hotel in order to offer a suitable holiday experience to a growing target group, which would like to travel without children and longs for a lot of peace on site. The concept is very well received," says hotel manager Daniel Posch.

As a partner Best Western fosters the economic success and competitiveness of each hotel through marketing and sales activities for all relevant market segments and target groups. The hotels remain independent and individually managed. Best Western Hotels Central Europe GmbH, headquartered in Eschborn, Germany, currently manages around 220 hotels in the ten countries Germany, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Hungary.

Holiday in the Bavarian Forest
The Best Western Hotel Antoniushof is located directly on the southern slope of the climatic health resort Schoenberg - with a view over the village and direct access to hiking trails. Due to its sunny location on a ridge, Schoenberg with its 3,900 inhabitants is also called "Merano of the Bavarian Forest". The Bavarian Forest National Park with its pristine nature offers opportunities for regeneration or activity all year round. With hiking, walking and mountain bike trails for all tastes and levels of difficulty, the region is perfect for sports and nature enthusiasts.
