Galaxy Beach Resort, BW Premier Collection

Set between gardens and Laganas Beach on Zakynthos, the Galaxy Beach Resort, BW Premier Collection, Zakynthos, Greece, is a relaxed beachside resort with bright rooms and family suites with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, mini refrigerator, and a balcony with sea or garden views. The on-site restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine, while several bars, including a roof garden bar and pool bar, provide drinks throughout the day. Dedicated children’s facilities and activities make the resort particularly suitable for families. The long sandy beach lies right at hand for the day's swimming. Zakynthos is a lush Ionian island of green hills, turquoise bays and soft golden sand. Long Laganas Bay shelves into shallow warm water where sea turtles (Caretta caretta) come ashore to nest, the island's marine park protects the wildlife along the coast, and boat trips reach the Blue Caves and the cliff-framed Navagio (Shipwreck) Beach to the north. Quiet hill villages and olive groves dot the island's green interior.
