Bad Lippspringe is blessed with nature! Situated at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest and just outside the cathedral city of Paderborn, the spa town borders the flat heathland of the Senne. Visitors can enjoy a unique park and forest landscape, idyllic springs, and abundant natural beauty—all right on the hotel’s doorstep. The nearby university city of Paderborn is famous for its cathedral, the Weser Renaissance-style town hall, the picturesque Pader spring area, and the world’s largest computer museum. The Paderborn Neuhaus Residence Castle, the unique triangular Wewelsburg, and Dalheim Monastery are also well worth a visit. Detmold is also within easy reach, the former residence of the Prince of Lippe, boasting a beautiful historic old town, the Westphalian Open-Air Museum, the Hermannsdenkmal monument, and the striking Externsteine rock formations. Additionally, a visit to the 1,200-year-old former Benedictine monastery of Corvey on the Weser is highly recommended. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014, it houses the oldest and only nearly completely preserved Carolingian westwork in the world.Directions by car
From the south / A44: At exit no. 61 (Bad Wünnenberg / Haaren junction) take the A33 towards Paderborn. After approx. 17km at exit no. 26 (Paderborn-Elsen) take the B1 towards Bad Lippspringe. Follow the B1 for approx. 7.5km until you reach the Bad Lippspringe exit. From the north / A2: At exit no. 25 (Kreuz Bielefeld) take the A33 towards Paderborn. After approx. 29km take exit no. 26 (Paderborn-Elsen) onto the B1 in the direction of Bad Lippspringe. Follow the B1 for approx. 7.5km until you reach the Bad Lippspringe exit. After approx. 500 metres turn left towards Bad Lippspringe West onto Am Vorderflöß. After about 1.4km at the traffic lights continue straight ahead onto Berliner Allee, which ends after about 0.6km. Turn right at the traffic lights into Bielefelder Straße. After about 100 meters take the first left into Peter-Hartmann-Allee. The entrance to the hotel car park is on your right after another 100 metres.Arrival by public transport
By train: From Paderborn main station (10 km) take the bus R50/R51 to Bad Lippspringe. Get off at the stop Stadtmitte in Bad Lippspringe and follow the pedestrian zone for approx. 500 metres to the hotel.
